The United Kingdom, in collaboration with the United States and Australia under the AUKUS defence and security partnership, has announced an accelerated initiative to develop hypersonic technologies. This effort aims to enhance the three nations’ capabilities in producing advanced hypersonic weapons and systems. The partnership also seeks to deepen industrial collaboration and streamline acquisition processes to bolster supply chain resilience. The Hypersonic Technologies and Capability Development Framework (HTCDF) has been established to expedite market engagement and technological development in this domain.
