The National Cyber Security Centre’s annual review highlights a record number of incidents, including ransomware and zero-day vulnerabilities, stressing an urgent need to enhance UK cyber defences. Despite NCSC guidance, adoption of protective frameworks like Cyber Essentials remains low, leaving UK institutions vulnerable to increasingly complex threats.
